Amazon is closing in on HQ2

Amazon has released its short list of cities for a second headquarters. The internet giant says it to expects to create 50,000 high-paying jobs and invest over $5 billion in the winning city.

I think Amazon is the world’s most exciting company and, at some point, will be the most valuable.

Amazon’s HQ2 campaign leads with jobs created and dollars invested.

But the more interesting consideration for us is how Amazon will use its home city as a testing ground for next-generation technologies. From food delivery via drone to last-mile logistics, Amazon may very well impact city living more than any other major company.
